CB Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is located on the south side of the CB lake. The planks were replaced with the colored Trex boards. Name plates were purchased and embedded on the edges so as to not get trampled.

There will also be a memorial garden at one entrance of the bridge for additional pet recognition with painted rocks, statues and more...

NOTE: This project will grow and adapt as needed. Many more great ideas are flowing!

The Rainbow Bridge is a poem that brings comfort and peace to owners who have lost a beloved pet. It tells us that each pet crosses the bridge to a place where there is no longer pain, no longer suffering, and much happiness as they await their beloved family.
Carolina Beach, very much a pet-friendly community, has completed a project that provides a place where our loved companions are honored and their memories cherished. Located at the beautiful Carolina Beach Lake, the Rainbow Bridge is a place where pets, who have gained their wings, will be remembered for all to see! The lake is a peaceful place and as each person walks the perimeter, they can take a moment to see those who have gained their wings and the incredible love their owners had for the time spent here on Earth.

There was only one other Rainbow Bridge in North Carolina and sadly that was washed out with Hurricane Helene. Lake Lure is currently in the process of re-establishing and we wanted to assure that our beloved pets, in this part of North Carolina, had an opportunity to also be memorialized.

We know that Rainbow Bridge, in Carolina Beach, NC, known as a pet friendly community, has become a beacon of hope and brings peace to those who have lost a beloved family member who may be gone but not forgotten!
